About Maize Australia

The MAA was formed to represent all sectors of the maize industry in Australia and to give the maize industry a voice in the circles of power.
The Executive represents a broad spectrum of the industry, with members from the farming, research, and industry communities.

The aims and objectives of the MAA are:

  1. The interchange of ideas, knowledge, innovation and cooperation of all parties in the maize industry, from the primary producer to the exporter
  2. Support for the production, development and marketing of maize products
  3. Increased public awareness of maize, its uses, products and by-products
  4. Improved communication between growers and end-users to promote and increase the many uses of maize.  The Australian Summer Grains Conference (ASGC) is an integral component held every 3 years.
